This week in progress:
Monday (February 22)
Special holiday today (at least for schools) to commemorate the EDSA Revolution Anniversary. I can't share the joy since I'm a member of the working force already although I must say I enjoyed having less cars on the road. I went home early that day to visit The Boy who was "sick." (Actually he just lacked sleep having spent the weekend swimming in Laguna with his family.) So Monday night was whiled away at his house -- me watching Shrek on TV and him falling asleep beside me. Hmp.
Tuesday (February 23)
It was a boring day in the office. Shine (my resident kachikahan and ka-tantanan chuchuruchuru) had to take the afternoon off and go buy a new washing machine because she's in the middle of moving in her new house. I just Facebooked the afternoon away then went to the gym after work. Had a little argument with The Boy that evening which caused me a rather sleepless night. Rrr.
Wednesday (February 24)
I woke up late and got to work late, needless to say. Shine was absent (still busy with the move) but luckily, Emmy came to work so at least I wasn't alone in my area. That night I met with The Boy at Galleria for our much-awaited Super Text Twist Challenge!!! (We're such dorks and I'm loving it.) I won. No surprise there. Ha! And oh, he surprised me with 2 big cases of Moniegold, my favorite chewy tamarind candy. THANK YOU!!! :))
Thursday (February 25)
Today is the actual Anniversary of the EDSA Revolution so they had this thing along EDSA to celebrate it which made the Monday holiday senseless/useless. They could have either declared the holiday today or had the celebration last Monday so as to avoid traffic jams. Sheesh. Hassle!
PIZZA OVERLOAD ANYONE?! Me and my office mates ate lunch at Shakey's Katipunan (carbonara, pepperoni pizza, chicken and chips)--treat care of Ms. Tere. Yum! Showbiz tidbit: We saw Mikey What's-His-Face from Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition I. He was with a girl (possibly his girlfriend because they were being touchy-touchy under the table). Too bad I wasn't able to take a picture. Hihi.
Then at around six o' clock in the evening, we had an 18 inch Yellow Cab pepperoni and mushroom pizza delivered (plus an order of Charlie Chan chicken pasta)--a treat by Migs for working hard on the E-Derm account! (I later found out that hours after I left, Mike came and they had another 18 inch pizza from Yellow Cab delivered! Takaw!)
Then later that night, I was off to The Boy's house for dinner. I got him a family size Super Supreme pan pizza from Pizza Hut since he's craving for it and I felt guilty after making him inggit with all the pizza I had that day. How nice of me, no? :)
Friday (February 26) -- Today
No actual plans of seeing The Boy because he has his own gimmick with his elementary friends. However, he's free to join me and Brizie at Tiendesitas if his plan doesn't push through.
Anyway, this was one happy week. I hope the weekend's better. HELLO THERE WEEKEND! How I've missed you!

Foreword
Okay so I finally caved in to my long-time secret wish of creating a blog here in Blogspot. I still have my old blog in Multiply but since it has become eerily quiet there and hence boring, I stopped putting up entries. Sad.
Reason for blogging: I LA-LA-LOVE RANDOMITIES! Just to brief you, this blog will be about notable happenings in my life (with family, friends and the boy), fashion (which I adore), book and film raves and/or rants, random quotes I hear or read (fun and insightful!) and basically anything and everything in my mind that is worth sharing. And don't you just love unloading thoughts from your head for fear that they will overflow? I do.
So let me start by telling you a little something about myself.
My name is (eek reminds me of the first day of school!) BARBARA FAYE FARRALES. I'm 23 turning 24 and therefore is in denial of getting old. I work as an Account Executive for an advertising agency specializing in above-and-below-the-line campaigns. I can't really express how I feel about my job. Maybe it's safe to call it a love-hate relationship. My interests are music, films, books, food, fashion, cars, faces and places and hobbies include reading, writing, doodling, traveling and immersing myself in new things. I believe there is no such thing as perfect happiness but something does comes close to it: and that is the clock striking 6:30 in the evening. There's nothing like going home after a long and dragging day at the office. Agree? Hihi.
Well that's it for now. Expect another entry when boredom hits...maybe 30 minutes after this first post.
