LSS

Define LSS or Last Song Syndrome: (by Urban Dictionary)

1. To listen to music before going out of the house, and having the last song you hear before leaving stick in your head all through your journey, and beyond. Is usually accompanied by subconscious humming. This syndrome is particularly dangerous when the song happens to be the most pathetic, crappy, albeit catchy song ever.

2.
When you end up singing random songs that you last heard whether you like the song or not. You might have heard this song in a span of 30mins or a max 8hrs.

Cannonball by Damien Rice

"There's still a little bit of your song, in my ear...
There's still a little bit of your words, I long to hear..."

I remember first hearing this song in an episode of The O.C. It was playing in the background the time Rachel Bilson's character, Summer Roberts, realizes that he likes Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) more than a friend, but Seth was dating Anna Stern (the female Seth) which makes the 2 impossible to get together. It was a rather sad and hopeless moment for Summer. And Seth who loved Summer since episode 1. Le sigh. I miss The O.C.

Today was an easy day, despite the hard rain. The boyfriend came over to hang out (since he works very near where I live) until it stopped. We saw The Time Traveler's Wife on DVD. Finally.
